Social Justice is a cornerstone of the First Unitarian Church of Honolulu.
The Social Justice Program engages and Supports our Congregational Social Action.
The Social Justice Council serves as the leadership team for our program.
First Unitarian Has A Long History Of Helping To Found Such Groups As Planned Parenthood Of Hawaii, ACLU Of Hawaii, League Of Women Voters Of Hawaii, And Hawaii Interfaith Power & Light (HIPL). First Unitarian Is Also Highly Engaged In Study And Action In The "Black Lives Matter" Movement.
The Council prioritizes our social action as a church through four justice action themes-- Reproductive, Economic, `Aina (Environmental) and Learning.

The Social Justice Council (SJC) is elected by the Congregation to support church and congregant social justice concerns and programs. The SJC meets on the third
